From 8-12 July 2019, the Director and one Clerk of the Table Office of the National Assembly of the Gambia will visit the UK Parliament and one devolved legislature to meet their counterparts and explore the work of different Table Offices.

The programme will focus on the role and responsibilities of the Table Office, its relationships within parliament, and different approaches to working efficiently.

The study visit forms part of a two-year programme of technical assistance agreed with the National Assembly of the Gambia in 2018. It follows a recent workshop on the Assembly's new Standing Orders in April and a research study visit in January 2019.
