Chatham House on UK Strategy in China & the Indo-Pacific
28 October 2025
Venue: Westminster
CPA UK together with the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (BGIPU) are partnering with Chatham House to deliver a round-table discussion.
The discussion will focus on recently released papers by Chatham House on UK strategies towards China and the Indo-Pacific.
These twin publications explore ways in which the UK can build advantageous and resilient partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region, especially at a time of major geopolitical shifts.
Three research fellows from Chatham House will be on the panel. They are:
- Ben Bland, Director of Asia Pacific Programme
- Chietigj Bajpaee, Senior Research Fellow for South Asia
- Olivia O'Sullivan, Director of UK in the World Programme
The session will start with Chatham House fellows introducing their two publications, and then there will be an open conversation with UK parliamentarians.
