28 October 2025

Venue: UK Parliament

CPA UK and British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (BGIPU) are partnering with Chatham House to deliver a discussion event on their recently released papers on UK strategies towards China and the Indo-Pacific.  These twin publications explore how the UK may build advantageous and resilient partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region at a time of major geopolitical shifts.

The panel will be comprised of the following research fellows from Chatham House:

  • Ben Bland, Director of Asia Pacific Programme
  • Chietigj Bajpaee, Senior Research Fellow for South Asia
  • James Kynge, Senior Research Fellow for China and the World
  • Olivia O'Sullivan, Director of UK in the World Programme

The fellows will introduce these two publications, before participating in an open conversation on the topic with UK parliamentarians.
