As part of CPA UK’s parliamentary partnership programme with the Parliament of Lesotho, CPA UK will facilitate a virtual workshop with National Assembly Members, Senators, and clerks to share good practice on all aspects of committee work.

In addition to comparing approaches of UK Select Committees and Lesotho Portfolio Committees, the programme will explore effective committee management, impactful inquiries and recommendations, and public engagement. It will also feature a practical component in the form of a committee exercise and consider how committee members working on security- and defence-related topics can maintain high levels of topical expertise.
