The Role of Parliament in Shaping the Future of Responsible AI Conference

Venue: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Parliament of Malaysia, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will be holding a Conference on ‘The Role of Parliament in Shaping the Future of Responsible AI’, to be held from 28 to 30 November 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

The two-track programme is designed to address the most pressing issues at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and legislative governance: 

  • Track 1: AI Policy-Making: Focussing on the legislative and oversight role of Parliaments and the broader societal dimensions of AI development. 
  • Track 2: AI in Parliaments: Focussing on the internal governance, strategy, and practical applications of AI within parliamentary processes.
