CPA UK partnered with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) and the Parliament of Sri Lanka to deliver a Post-Election Seminar in Colombo following the 2024 UK and Sri Lankan elections.   

The programme promoted dialogue between UK and Sri Lankan parliamentarians on their roles and responsibilities as members, as well as giving specific focus to budget & financial scrutiny. The also included a series of panel sessions between UK and Sri Lankan parliamentary officials, and a series of bilateral meetings with key stakeholders in Sri Lankan politics & civil society, covering the status of UK-Sri Lanka relations, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
