Gender Sensitising Parliaments: A Practical Guide

14 May 2025

Venue: CPA Room, Westminster Hall

CPA UK, CPA Secretariat and BGIPU hosted a seminar on the recently published Gender Sensitising Parliaments: A Practical Guide.

At Wednesday's seminar Professors Sarah Childs and Meryl Kenny from the University of Edinburgh introduced arguments for gender-sensitising parliaments (GSP) before presenting their guide (see above).

More and more parliaments around the world are taking action to address the barriers to full and equal participation, and to ensure that - as institutions - they meet the needs of all the people they represent.
