CPA UK Delegation Visit to Ghana
25 May 2026
Venue: Accra
CPA UK invites Members of both Houses to apply to join a cross-party delegation to the Parliament of Ghana. Both Ghana and the UK held elections in 2024 and this is a great opportunity for new members to engage on the opportunities and challenges of their roles.
The visit will have a trade scrutiny focus engaging with parliamentarians, businesses, and local stakeholders to strengthen trade relations. This will provide an opportunity to discuss boosting economic growth of UK-Ghana businesses and addressing cost of living pressures in both countries.
We will learn more about the impact of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area in light of the Commonwealth Secretary General's commitment to strengthen Intra-African trade. There will also be an opportunity to discuss other areas of mutual interest including the energy transition and human rights.
To apply, please complete this form by end of day on Sunday 15 March. Applications are particularly welcomed from new members and members with an interest or experience in trade scrutiny, human rights and the energy transition.
