CPA UK Delegation to Sierra Leone

CPA UK is facilitating a cross-party delegation to Sierra Leone focused on tackling sexual violence and ending violence against women and girls (EVAWG).
The visit will take place in Freetown, Sierra Leone, from Saturday 17 to Friday 23 October 2026 (travel dates inclusive)
The visit will bring together UK parliamentarians and members of the Sierra Leone Parliamentary Women's Caucus to exchange experiences and best practices on legislative approaches to sexual violence, parliamentary scrutiny, survivor-centred policy making, and constituency engagement.
The programme will provide opportunities to engage directly with parliamentarians, parliamentary officials, civil society organisations, and other key stakeholders working to prevent and respond to sexual and gender-based violence.
Applications are welcomed from Members with an interest in gender equality, safeguarding, violence against women and girls/cultural harms, or international development. Members with specific experience in any of the above areas are encouraged to apply.
