The Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop took place in Westminster, London from 26-28 April 2017 bringing together parliamentarians from across the Asia-Pacific region. The workshop focused on modern slavery, human trafficking and forced labour and highlighted the benefits of introducing robust legislation in their own jurisdictions.

The workshop incorporated contributions from key stakeholders, including UK parliamentarians with relevant experience from the passage of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and a range of civil society organisations, to proliferate best practice and the exchanging of ideas.
