Following the UK’s recent trade and investment partnerships with Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa, this workshop offers UK parliamentarians a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of international trade policy, trade agreement scrutiny, and the role of Parliament in supporting economic growth. Participants will gain insights into the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), explore emerging Africa-UK trade and engage with expert stakeholders on sustainable trade and climate finance. The programme will also consider opportunities for constituents and diaspora communities in the UK to invest and build business links with African countries.
