At CPA UK, the team is a vibrant tapestry of diverse cultures and languages. We pride ourselves on our multicultural environment, which enriches our work and fosters a global perspective. In this spotlight, we introduce you to some of our team members and the languages they speak (in addition to English). 

Adeline Dumoulin, Modern Slavery Project Manager & Deputy Head of Multilateral Projects: 

Adeline is a language enthusiast with a rich linguistic background. Fluent in French, her mother tongue, she also possesses a strong command of Spanish.

Hammal Dostain, Project Assistant, UK Overseas Territories Project:

Hammal's linguistic prowess is truly impressive. As a native Balochi speaker, he brings a unique perspective to our team. Additionally, he is well-versed in Urdu/Hindi, Pashto, and Deri/Farsi, strengthening our ties with diverse communities.

Rahel Kibru, Trade Strategic Lead:

Rahel adds an Ethiopian touch to our linguistic diversity with her proficiency in Ahmaric, one of the languages spoken in Ethiopia.

Adeola Gbakinro, Programme Officer:

Adeola's linguistic skills extend to Yoruba, connecting us with the rich cultural heritage of West Africa. She is also on a journey to master Spanish, currently at an A2 level.

Jon Davies, Chief Executive:

Jon's extensive travels with the Foreign Office have equipped him with the ability to converse fluently in Spanish and Arabic, enhancing our international engagement.

Helen Haywood, Deputy Chief Executive:

Helen brings her proficiency in French to the team, contributing to our linguistic diversity and facilitating communication on a global scale.

Tamika McAuley-Christopher, Programme Officer, UK Overseas Territories Project:

Tamika's linguistic skills encompass Mandarin and Hebrew, enabling us to bridge cultures and connect with diverse communities.

Selsabil Amine, Communications Officer:

Selsabil's expertise lies in Arabic, specifically a North African dialect, enrichening our cultural reach.

Christopher Brown, Americas, Caribbean and Europe Programme Manager:

Christopher's language capabilities extend to Spanish and German, further expanding our reach in Europe and the Americas.

Axell Kaubo, Projects & Programmes Manager – Thematic Lead on Public Accounts Committees, Multilateral Projects Team:

Axell's multilingual talents include Swahili, Lingala, and French, providing a valuable bridge to different African cultures. He also has a basic understanding of Spanish, enhancing our global connectivity.

Jake Moran, Project Officer:

Jake has an intermediate level of proficiency in Swedish, broadening our linguistic reach into the Nordic region.

Elle Farrell-Kingsley, Work Experience:

Elle's linguistic journey has taken her to Tanzania, where she gained a basic understanding of Swahili during her volunteer work. She's currently delving into the intricacies of Korean, having recently passed her A2 exam, and is now progressing to the B1 level.

Our diverse team's multilingualism allows us to engage with a wide range of cultures and communities, fostering connections and collaboration on a global scale.
