CPA UK Executive Committee Election July 2026

The CPA UK AGM was held on the 15 July (2026) in the CPA Room, Westminster Hall.

It included an election for a seat on CPA UK's Executive Committee, which is made up of 14 members from the House of Commons and 6 members from the House of Lords.   

The election was to fill a vacant Labour seat, following Sharon Hodgson departure from the Committee in order that she can take up her ministerial appointment.  

All parliamentarians were eligible to vote in the election.

Patricia Ferguson, MP for Glasgow West, was duly elected.

Patricia recently took part in a Lunchtime Conversation on the Commonwealth Games this summer.
