CPA UK hosted a four-member delegation from the Parliament of Australia for two roundtable sessions focused on areas of shared interest between UK and Australian Parliamentarians.  

The first of the two sessions was a working lunch on UK-Australia trade, and considered the impact of the UK-Australia Free Trade Agreement, as well as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), ahead of the UK’s planned accession. The second discussion explored international security matters, and how the partnership between the UK and Australia may respond to challenges in this sphere.
