CPA UK is organising a virtual post-election seminar for parliamentarians and clerks from the St Helena Legislative Council following their recent general election.

The three-day programme will take place between 1–3 February 2022. The seminar will focus on preparing both newly elected and returning Members for their roles as legislators, particularly taking into account recent constitutional changes in St Helena including the transition to the ministerial system and the introduction of select committees.

CPA UK is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Members and clerks to join the virtual delegation. Experience serving with a select committee and/or in a previous ministerial position is desirable.
