Malaysia - Young Leaders' Exchange

CPA UK will host a group of young leaders from Malaysia, including two of the youngest parliamentarians in regional assemblies, on Tuesday 16 October 2018. The Westminster visit forms part of a young leaders' exchange facilitated by the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.
The cross-party delegation will include participants from the new ruling coalition government, Pakatan Harapan, as well as members of the opposition coalition, Barisan Nasional.
The delegates will observe parliamentary procedure in the Chamber and in a select committee, and meet with Members of both Houses to discuss youth representation and UK-Malaysia bilateral relations. The visit will also include a roundtable discussion on opportunities and challenges for young parliamentarians.
