Women's Parliamentary Debate: Raising Voices For Change
Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Raising Voices For Change is CPA UK’s virtual parliamentary debate, uniting women parliamentarians across the Commonwealth to stand together, to celebrate Commonwealth Day and share their thoughts around International Women's Day.
Hosted by Seyi Akiwowo, Founder and Executive Director of Glitch and Hon Maria Miller MP, UK Parliament, this debate will hear from women parliamentarians on the following questions:
• How can we work together to challenge online harms faced by women parliamentarians?
• How can we ensure equal access to political participation?
• What progress have we seen in gender-sensitive legislation towards tackling gender-based violence?
During the debate, share your pledge on how you will raise your voice for change.
Let us stand together and raise our voices for change!
