A delegation from the National Assembly of the Gambia visited the UK Parliament from 16-19 January 2023 for a programme focused on committee scrutiny, as well as gender sensitive scrutiny.

The delegation comprised of five committee members from the National Assembly of The Gambia, including two members of the newly formed Select Committee on Gender, Children, and Social Welfare, two members of the Health, Refugees, Disaster and Humanitarian Relief Committee, and the Finance and Public Accounts Committee, plus one accompanying committee clerk.
