As part of the UK Overseas Territories Project, CPA UK is facilitating a clerk attachment for the Falklands Islands from 29 July to 12 August 2023. The clerk will participate in a two-week programme with the Public Accounts Committee of St Helena.

Clerk attachments present an opportunity for parliamentary and committee clerks to work directly with clerks from other legislatures, to explore new ways of working or address specific challenges. The attached clerk gets a close insight into the host legislature and committee’s current work processes. They also benefit from the sharing of practical knowledge and good practice. 

CPA UK has previously organised clerk attachments for Anguilla, Montserrat, Turks & Caicos Islands, St Helena, Cayman Islands, and Bermuda.
