Exhibition exploring African and Caribbean influences on the UK Parliament

19 October 2022

Venue: CPA Room, Westminster Hall

For Black History Month 2022, CPA UK - in partnership with the Parliamentary Archives - hosted an exhibition and reception for Members, Peers, High Commission Officials and staff, celebrating the long-standing diplomatic relationships between African, Caribbean and UK Parliaments.

The Commonwealth is a network that celebrates diversity and the cultural richness that comes from within it. Its influence can be seen everywhere, especially within the UK Parliament, not only within the historical buildings but artefacts preserved within the Parliamentary Archives which showcase the history of parliamentary relations between Africa, the Caribbean, and the UK.
