We are deeply saddened by the news of Sir David Amess’ death on 15 October 2021, following an attack at his local constituency office.

Sir David was an active member of CPA UK’s Executive Committee and made valuable contributions to past programmes and delegations. He brought with him a wealth of knowledge, with nearly 40 years of service as a Member of Parliament.

Our thoughts are with Sir David’s family during this difficult time.
