Final Countdown to CPA UK's Westminster Seminar 2018

CPA UK’s 67th Westminster Seminar is almost upon us, with over 70 delegates from across the Commonwealth looking forward to a week of intensive learning and knowledge-sharing in the heart of the UK Parliament from 26th-30th November 2018. 

 

The five day programme will include contributions from a range of highly-respected current and former parliamentarians from across the Commonwealth.  

 

Highlights will include the The Rt. Hon. Lord Paul Boateng of Akyem and Wembley speaking about how the House of Commons holds the Prime Minister to account; HE Festus Mogae, Former President of Botswana, and HE Joachim Chissano, Former President of Mozambique, discussing the importance of protecting the human rights of minority groups; and The Rt. Hon. John Bercow MP, Speaker of the House of Commons, explaining how his role facilitates fair debate and effective accountability on the floor of the House.
