Commonwealth Association of Public Accounts Committees - Pan-Commonwealth Workshop

17 March 2020 - 19 March 2020

Venue: UK Parliament, Westminster

We have been closely monitoring the situation in the UK and around the world regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). The picture is constantly changing, but in accordance with UK Government advice we have decided to cancel or postpone all upcoming CPA UK activities. Please find full statement from CPA UK here.

From 17 to 19 March 2020, CPA UK planned to host the Commonwealth Association of Public Accounts Committees (CAPAC) Pan-Commonwealth Workshop in Westminster, London. CPA UK planned to welcome 48 Chairs, Members and Clerks from 27 Public Accounts Committees across the Commonwealth for a three-day intensive workshop.

This workshop was to be the culmination of four CAPAC Regional Workshops which CPA UK led between 2018 - 2020. Delegates were to share learning from these previous workshops and collaborate on mutual challenges in their work. The workshop invited delegates to look forward and discuss approaches to continuing to exchange knowledge and learning amongst PACs in years to come.

This workshop was planned as part of a wider project to strengthen financial scrutiny and oversight in Public Accounts Committees delivered by CPA UK as part of the Commonwealth Partnership for Democracy (CP4D).
