CPA UK is delighted to partner with the Ugandan Women’s Parliamentary Association (UWOPA), UN Women Uganda, and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) to facilitate a Mentorship and Leadership Programme for Women Parliamentarians in 2022.
CPA UK is seeking women UK parliamentarians, including MPs and peers as well as Members of the Scottish and Welsh Parliaments and the Northern Ireland Assembly, who are interested in acting as mentors to women parliamentarians in Uganda. Mentoring will take place remotely, and mentors will commit to at least three online one-to-one conversations.
Specific topics and goals will be determined between the mentor and mentee in their first mentoring session. Focus areas may include communications and public speaking, lobbying and negotiating, time management, and building confidence.
If you would like to apply to be a mentor, please complete and submit the below application form.
PLEASE CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON ONCE AND WAIT FOR THE PAGE TO RESPOND. This may take up to 30 seconds.
