Sierra Leone: Legislation & Legislative Scrutiny Workshop

Part of a series of engagements, CPA UK is organising a parliamentary workshop on legislation and legislative scrutiny with the Parliament of Sierra Leone in February. The programme will focus in particular on the process for introducing, scrutinising, and enacting Private Members’ Bills (PMBs) and how Members can support this process. Following the workshop, the delegation will attend a short diplomatic programme in Freetown. Please note travel dates (13-18 February 2022 TBC) are subject to change.

CPA UK is seeking Members of both Houses to join this delegation and will particularly welcome applications from MPs and peers with experience introducing or scrutinising PMBs and experience as public bill committee members.
