In collaboration with UK charity Reprieve, CPA UK will host an online roundtable discussion on capital punishment with parliamentarians from the UK and Africa.

Participants will include parliamentarians from countries where the death penalty has been abolished as well as countries whose criminal code retains capital punishment. The discussion, from 1100-1230, will present an opportunity for participants to consider common challenges and practical steps in moving towards abolition.
