Wednesday 26 April 2017 to Friday 28 April 2017
Venue: Westminster, London
The Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop will take place in Westminster, London from 26-28 April 2017. Relevant parliamentarians from across the Asia-Pacific region will be invited to attend the three-day workshop, focusing on modern slavery issues and highlighting the benefits of introducing robust modern slavery legislation in their own jurisdictions.
The workshop will incorporate contributions from key stakeholders, including UK parliamentarians with relevant experience from the passage of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and a range of civil society organisations, to proliferate best practice in the development of modern slavery legislation.
