The Projects and Programmes Manager sits within the Conference and Projects Team which delivers major international parliamentary conferences, seminars and workshops in the UK and abroad, including its flagship Westminster Seminar project and annual themed conference. Such projects are undertaken in partnership with other legislatures, HMG, Commonwealth organisations, UNDP, and international NGOs and will focus on the role and responsibilities of parliamentarians on issues such as accountability, climate change, combatting corruption, conflict resolution and peacebuilding, education, equalities, gender, health, relationships with the media, scrutiny and transparency, and violence against women and girls.
This is an exciting appointment in a busy and dynamic office in the heart of Parliament and Whitehall and the Projects and Programmes Manager will be responsible for further developing CPA UK’s activities, leading on the planning, implementation of current and future activities whilst developing and managing relationships with parliamentary, national and international stakeholders. The post holder will also be responsible for monitoring programme delivery against objectives, programme expenditure against budget and reporting to the Head of Conferences and Projects.
